Q: What was the process of bedtime like before asking your girls the question – “what would you like to
dream about”? How has your routine shifted after?

A: As the children grow. Their answers grew with them. To winning dance competitions and family vacations
But at the end of the day. It’s usually dreaming of family. And Unicorns. Lot and lots of Unicorns. Meeting them
finding them riding them. My girls love Unicorns. I can’t wait to hear their questions every night.

Q: What was the illustration process like for you as an author?

A: I really enjoyed the illustration process. Having your ideas come to life. It was a beautiful thing.

Q: What do you hope readers will take away from your book?

I really just wanted my readers to enjoy the book. The story. The illustrations. And the love. If it helps form a new
bedtime routine in their home, that would be an amazing feeling. And that simple question can lead to new
horizons.
